Imagine all the people, processes and equipment involved with every patient that enters a hospital. Regardless of how the patient arrives (unexpectedly through the emergency department doors or at the registration desk for a scheduled surgery or procedure), each patient requires the organization of dozens of people and myriad diagnostic and treatment equipment. And all of this must happen in a hectic and chaotic environment where communication and teamwork are key and minutes matter.
At TAGNOS, we’re here to usher in the next generation of clinical logistics solutions for improved healthcare delivery. We’ve developed a wide range of product and services that support the operational logistics of patient care in operating rooms, procedural areas and emergency departments. In doing so, we enable hospitals to operate more efficiently by orchestrating the functions of care delivery to make life easier for care providers and improve the patient experience.
We’re Hunting Unicorns
We’re in growth mode, but still a start-up, so we’re always interested in hearing from “unicorn” employees that will help take our business to the next level. Borrowed generously from an article written by Ryan Holmes, CEO at Hootsuite, this is what we mean:
You aren’t limited by your job title.
TAGNOS is planning for hyper growth – we need employees who can flourish in this environment and are intellectually curious. In the beginning, this means having the ability to wear many hats and excel at varied tasks. As we grow, flexibility will be key as you may be tasked to dive deeper into specific, growing areas. If you’re a roll-up your sleeves doer and always willing to expand your knowledge and expertise across the business ... you might be a unicorn.
You think big and small.
You think strategically and see the overall company goals and also know the devil is in the details. If you can see the big picture, but also take the time to read the fine print … you just might be a unicorn.
You have true grit.
Psychologist Angela Duckworth’s popular TED talk and book, defines grit as “perseverance and passion for long-term goals,” and says it’s a crucial factor to achieving success. We couldn’t agree more. You know that unexpected obstacles are inevitable; and during these times, having grit—a dogged persistence—keeps you focused on the destination. If you are able to stay calm and focused on the task at hand, even during turbulence … you might be a unicorn.
You’re respectful by nature.
You work well with others – enough said! If you respect every individual you encounter … you might be a unicorn.
You get stuff done.
LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner infamously sent out a short status update on his platform: “In simplest terms possible, the people I most enjoy working with dream big, get sh*t done, and know how to have fun.” While TAGNOS is a bit more reserved than Mr. Weiner, you get the point. The TAGNOS team believes having fun at work is crucial to success and also knows it is equally important for people to be able to get stuff done. So if you’re a joy to be around and can also produce results… you might be a unicorn.
Join our Herd
Our open job postings will be coming soon as we’re growing rapidly. In the meantime, if you’re someone who shatters expectations, raises the bar for everyone and are simply a joy to be around, we’d love to hear from you. We anticipate hiring in sales, operations, clinical leadership and client success.
